I tried to make this as simple to follow as possible, and I hope it helps many people discover the joys of this wonderful expansion! Especially after having erroneously posted a review of Privateer claiming that the game doesn't have the expansion. The instructions were very easy to follow. not really sure why GOG didn't include a shortcut for it.
RavenFB: Ok, so I know this topic says 'SOLVED', but the few solutions on here are clunky, and not at all straightforward. Scroll towards the end of the command until you see a part that says " ".\dosboxPRIV_nf". I recommend simply "Righteous Fire".Ħ) Right click on the renamed shortcut again, and click on "properties".ħ) Find the "Target" field, and click on it. You should now have a shortcut called "Launch Wing Commander Privateer - Copy"ĥ) Right click on the new shortcut, and click "rename".
